Interfusion Danse & D.A.T Life / Fondateur & Professeur
Born in Cameroon and raised in Montreal from a young age, Jules Bertrand is a dancer, instructor, choreographer and DJ with well over two decades of movement behind him. His roots span African dance, Brazilian zouk, kizomba, semba, salsa, Afro-Cuban, bachata and hip hop, and it's in the spaces between them that he shines. Known for his fusion style and signature body isolations, Jules founded Interfusion Danse in 2010 and laid the foundations of Montreal's Brazilian zouk scene from its very beginnings. For several years he shared the floor with dance partner Mélodie Gabrielle, teaching and performing together under the Interfusion banner. A nomad at heart, Jules has never stopped traveling, teaching and performing at congresses around the world. Today, through D.A.T. Life (Dance Adventure Travel Life), he offers private coaching in Brazilian zouk, kizomba, urban kiz, Afro styles and Kizouk fusion.
